Nicola Baggott

Founder & Chair

Nikki's Experience
I have worked in the care sector for as long as I can remember (not giving away my age). Having Brody opened my eyes even more to what we, as parents, need to do to keep our precious ones alive—acting as a doctor, a nurse, a physiotherapist, and much more.

Why Nikki joined
After the passing of my beautiful boy, I wanted to make a difference in families' lives. I didn't want other families to struggle the way we did. Brody hated to travel, and that was the only option if we wanted to do something as a family. This is why I want to create a place that is safe for families to visit without having to travel miles away.

Lynn Teague

Secretary

Lynn's Experience
With over 30 years in the charitable sector, extensive experience in fundraising and commissioning bids, and a background in senior management, I've secured funding from £50 to over £10 million. Skilled in managing multiple contracts and budgets, I have successfully delivered large-scale projects for organisations like Citizens Advice and Victim Support.

Why Lynn joined
With firsthand insight into the challenges faced by children with additional needs and the lack of provision, I bring a wealth of experience to a cause I deeply care about. Committed to improving facilities and support, I strive to make life a little easier for these children and their families.

Mike Baggott

Mike's Experience
My hands-on experience with children with special needs, along with my connections in the business and building community, allow me to actively promote the charity, raise awareness, and generate funds. Additionally, I am a dedicated volunteer supporting various initiatives within the trust.

Why Mike joined
As Brody's Dad, I know firsthand the struggles of finding inclusive resources and places for children with special needs. Being involved in Brody's Trust gives me the opportunity to ensure other families have access to the support and facilities they need to thrive and enjoy time together.

Why Colin joined

Sita Claridge

Trustee

Sita's Experience
My experience spans both personal and professional areas. Growing up with a younger sister with special needs led me to work in an SEN school for 11 years and later support young people in the community and their homes. I have also provided respite care for a young person for nearly a decade, forming a close bond.

Why Sita joined
Brody’s Trust is something close to my heart. Having a younger sister with complex special needs who sadly passed away, I understand firsthand the challenges families face. Working in special needs education for over a decade, I have seen the importance of support networks. Brody’s Trust provides families with a much-needed community, and I am honored to be part of this journey.
