Hi everyone,
We wanted to give you all a little update on how things are going here at Brody’s Trust. It’s been a busy few weeks with lots of exciting progress, a few setbacks, and some truly heartwarming support.
First up — we now have a fully fitted kitchen! 
It was kindly donated by Jewson in Coleford, and we’re absolutely amazed by it. The kitchen includes high-low adjustable workstations, which means all children can get involved — no one left out. There are just a few finishing touches to go, and then we’ll be sharing photos and a video very soon.
We’ve also been working on getting the main hall space ready — our hope is to use it for coffee mornings, family meet-ups, and eventually sibling support groups. We want to create a space where families can come together, feel connected, and supported.
Of course, not everything has gone to plan. We were due to begin work on making the front of the building wheelchair accessible, but we’ve had a setback due to issues with the heating system that need to be sorted first. Thankfully, Warriors of Warmth and JP Mechanical Services have both been fantastic and are helping us figure out the next steps. Fingers crossed we’ll be back on track with that soon.
And now for one of the most exciting parts — our sensory room is officially underway! 
We’ve been calling it our Rolls-Royce Sensory Room, because we’re putting so much love, care and thought into every detail. The sensory team recently visited to measure everything and help plan the layout, and the electrical work is starting next week.
Once that’s done, we’ll be prepping the walls, painting, and hopefully working with some local artists to create beautiful murals. Then it’s on to the carpet and finishing touches — and this special space will be ready for the children who need it most. A calm, creative, inclusive environment where everyone is welcome.
As of today, our One Puzzle, Many Pieces campaign has raised £3,841, and we’re so thankful.
